Guillaume Clusel is a highly regarded producer in Ampuis of Cote Rotie wines, but also owns parcels of Gamay vines further north in the Coteaux Lyonnais. These are hand harvested, fermented on natural yeasts, and gently handled using gravity rather than pumps to ensure the silkiest possible fruit. Very much in the Beaujolais fashion but perhaps with a touch more depth.
